I’m not ready to be content

So I’m faced with a very real and very scary altermatium, I can ether marry my girl of 18 months or lose her to immigration laws.
At first the choice was obvious and I suppose still is, but then I had a bad day and everything seemed to tell me that I’m just not ready to commit to marriage yet. Iv spoken to her about my views on marriage long before his dilemma came up, personally I’m not religious so it seems stupid to be married in the eyes of god and the idea of spending exorbadent amounts of money on a signal day is plane foolish.
But the problem is I (as well as she) consider the vows of marriage binding and im not prepared to marry her with the thinking that if it dosnt work out there’s all ways divorce.

So that’s my predicament, what my girlfriend dosnt seem to realise is that most of my problems with this situation are my own and a lot caused by my (undiagnosed ) do polar disorder. The few times iv actualy been able to speak to her about my problem with the situation she seems to think that everything I say means that she’s cause and I’m only with her till I can find someone better.
This is a real problem because almost all my problems are mine, in my head and not really anything she’s done and no matter how many times I tell her that the next thing I tell her brings her crashing back down again.

Personally I think I’m just not happy with anything no matter what, my life honestly has nothing wrong with it, I have an amazing job, a wonderful girlfriend that I love very much and enough money to live on and have fun. Despite this I have really bad days where I just want to quit my apprenticeship for no good reason dump my girlfriend just so I can be signal (not to sleep with ransoms or start a new one) move to another city because I don’t see some of my friends enough or feel guilty for never seeing the friends I have in this city. Iv learnt to live with these bad days as they normally happen only in the winter and I just have to struggle threw them.

I can’t decide wether I’m not ready to be married or I just want something I don’t have.

Amazing restaurant review thing!!!

So for the past few months I’ve been meaning to turn this into a review blog for all the places I eat around Canberra, so now it shall commence :)

Hog’s Breath Cafe (Woden)

Me and my lovely girlfriend have been meaning to get a plate of ribs here for a while now. We decided to take the extra drive and visit the Woden establishment, as we had both already eaten at the one in Civic.

Upon arrival, we were given a 20 minute wait time and ushered to the bar. 15 minutes later, our table was ready and we were eager to get stuck in. Our waitress seated us with menus and left us to reach our decision. A short time later she happily approached us, ready with a pen in hand. All decisions finalized, we sat waiting for the tasty treats. When our plate of “Boss Hog BBQ ribs” eventually made it to our table, it was a drop and run mission, both waitresses said the name of the item they were bringing over, left them on the table and disappeared as fast as possible. We had to call one back to ask for a top-up on drinks.

Lets start with the sides:

The bowl of curly fries that comes with the dish had obviously been cooked and left to go cold, before being fried again, and served to us luke warm. They were oil clogged and undesirable.

The corn on the cob was cooked well, but arrived just as the fries; barely warm.

The house salad was of a good standard with only personal taste requiring more dressing. The beans were a bit out of place, although not bad.

The main meal itself:

Flat-out disappointing. Arrived once again lukewarm, the meat itself was fatty with no flavor of its own, and the only reason the meal tasted of anything was due to the thick BBQ sauce coating. The meat was cooked well, and fell off the bone nicely, but it was a pale grey color on the underside, which really did not make it appetizing.

This was my fourth visit to the franchise, and to be honest, I don’t think I will be returning. The kicker for the evening, was when our waitress clocked off and no one else was sent to see if we had finished or wanted dessert. I realize the company does well for itself, so it must be catering to a hefty market, but I would not recommend visiting either of the two we have here in Canberra.
